Everything was good, I loved my stay. The staff were all excellent, outstandingly accommodating. The location was nice, close to Hadrian's Wall. It was also near to a railway line, and the pub beneath the accommodation. The English bar was fantastic!

Great stopover location on the way to Northumbria, perfect for a short stay. Cosy and welcoming atmosphere, with excellent food and service.- Large and nicely decorated bedroom, with a modern en-suite bathroom.
Access to the accommodation is via a steep staircase, which may not be suitable for elderly or guests with mobility issues. Limited activities in the town, but this was known beforehand and didn't affect the overall experience.
